The Enchanted Cave 2 App Reviews

I have played many of this genre but this one really stands out. Finding the escape wings gives you chance to escape the dungeon at any time with all your loot. I love that alternative to just dying and losing everything. I love the potion crafting element. I enjoy the interactions with the NPCS. My suggestions: PLEASE add a female playable character and maybe let the loot change their appearance.

With one hundred randomized floors, multiple quests, a complete storyline, and a New Game + mode that also buffs the difficulty to match your endgame level, TEC2 has a lot of playability for its pricetag.

Ive been looking for a game as fun and addicting as Lufia II with the Ancient Cave. This game is exactly what I was looking for. Nice touch with the simple attack system instead of going turn-based.

My favorite rogue like on Apple iOS. Perfect pacing for mobile and enough depth to provide long term interest.

Really well-thought out rogue-like with a very distinctive style. Quest system and itemization is very cool. Graphics are perfect.

Excellent game. Im a few hours in. Bug: game crashed when I tried to put an item into the museum. May have been because it was enchanted. Things I wish this game had so far: -camera panning -ability to walk through stairs Game is worth the money. Pay for these games to discourage potentially good, actually crappy iap games.

Ive never been one to want to spend much time on iOS games; most take more of a time commitment than I am willing to give. This game, however, takes only as much time as you are willing to give. It could be hours, or a few minutes here and there. This game manages to solve my sort of iOS game Goldilocks problem: its difficult, but not too difficult; its engrossing, but doesnt "punish" you for taking a break. Awesome job to the developer.

Everything that was great about the first one, and then much more.

I made it to the end and now have my 8 year old hooked on it. This really was a fun game. I love the ability to customize weapons/armor. The skill web is great. Artifacts were nice. Movement is perfect. This has now moved to the top of my list for iOS roguelike games.

Waited on this game forever and it did not disappoint. By far one of my top three games on the iPhone. Everyone should check it out.

A fun little game with a lot of skill/equipment customizability and depth, but also easy to just pick up and play without being forced to spend hours doing gear spec. Very fun, addictive. Only complaint is that it might need a bit more documentation, but figuring stuff out can be fun, too.

Played this game on Kongregate and loved it, so I got the mobile version and it plays just as well as on the computer.

Since the last May 6th update, when I enter the cave the game closes. Cannot play anymore. Great game until this happened. iPad Air 2, iOS 8.

At some point I thought "Someone should make an iOS game like the ancient cave from Lufia 2," and here it is! The game is paced well, possibly a little easy, but the intuitive interface flow deserves major kudos and makes this a great roguelike.

Enchanted Cave 2 is a fun, Rogue-like with excellent art and animation. Simple and engaging gameplay with enough depth to keep you playing for hours. Well done!

Fun and engaging. Light without being frivolous. Can be played in short spurts yet you are building up your character and progressing in a very satisfying way! Worth it!

I love this game and I was so excited to buy it once it came onto the App Store. However, Ive been diligently playing this game for a week or so in my free time and I finally made it to the boss level. I had at least 200 potions saved up total. My character was leveled up nicely. And right when the boss battle commenced.. My friends started blowing up my phone. On this run through, I went all 100 levels at once. Starting at 0. Needless to say, I lost the battle because the notifications were flooding in like crazy and I couldnt see my health bar at all to time potions and magic. And now, the game wont even restart. Im just stuck on the screen, dead in front of this demon. Im afraid I may have to delete the app to get it to reset because no buttons are available. And in that event, I will not download again.

After level 20 it doesnt change much. Boring doing the same thing over and over...

Im really digging this. The wing and golden item system keeps things fresh each run, while building towards a larger goal...especially since there is an end game to this! So many rogue likes have no ending or story to speak of. Great job developer!
